Coconut Lime begins with a base black tea from the Assam region of India. The black tea has light raisin notes along with a brisk astringency, not extremely pungent. Next, we add coconut chips to add a naturally sweet flavor. Coconut also adds a thicker and more complex mouthfeel. Lastly, the dried lime peel is added in to finish out the blend. The tartness and subtle sweetness of the citrus balance well with the coconut and raisin-like notes of the base tea.
